A female physician was shot in the parking lot behind her medical office today. The gunman was shot by police when he failed to drop his weapon and advanced on the responding officer. Both the victim and the gunman were Air Lifed to University Hospital.

Lee and Reagan students awarded at journalism convention

Lee High School and Reagan High School won several awards at the Texas Association of Journalism Educators Convention held here in San Antonio.  Lee High School won third place sweepstakes for the second year in a row with 17 Individual awards and two team awards.  Reagan High School won eight individual awards.  Read more Nine NEISD schools top ranked by Texas Monthly Courtesy of the NEISD.net website...
