Johnson Family Seeks Help to Find Father Missing Since Last Week

A North San Antonio man, a Johnson High School father, has been missing since Wednesday, May 2, in the North 281 area.  47-year-old Scott Mayer has three daughters and is well known in the community through his association with the Sliders baseball organization, Johnson High School, and as a baseball coach.  

His wife and girls are utilizing social media as well as working with authorities in an attempt to locate him.  

“Mayer stands at about 5 feet 9 inches, weighs about 170 pounds and has light brown hair. He was last seen driving a 2010 blue/grey Ford Escape with the Texas license plate number of BB26128. His family says his car has a Johnson High School Swimming-Macey sticker on the back windshield and a silver Texas Longhorns logo on the back near the license plate,” according to the find Scott Mayer Facebook page.  https://www.facebook.com/findscottmayer/

His family would like anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 210-709-3885.  

Mayer was last seen on Wednesday, May 2, in the TPC Parkway and U.S. 281 area. His last reported sighting was 12 miles North of TPC, westbound on Highway 46 and 281 at 6:58 p.m. Wednesday night.  Close up pictures of the car and identifying sticker follow.
