Teen's car mangled on Stone Oak Parkway

Firefighters were called to cut a 16-year-old girl out of a wrecked car on Stone Oak Parkway Sunday afternoon.  She was travelling southbound when a 19-year-old female driver in a white Toyota Yaris failed to yield near Huebner Road and T-boned the girl's red Toyota Camry into a tree, according to police and reported by KSAT 12 news digital journalist Mariah Medina.

The 16-year-old is expected to recover from her injuries, and the driver of the Yaris was unhurt, according to authorities.
