Reagan Baseball Team Finishes Runner Up at 6A State Tournament

With an incredible season (31-9), the Reagan High School Baseball team finished as the Class 6A UIL State Runner-Up.  The Rattlers faced Deer Park June 10 after they defeated Round Rock High School with a 7-1 victory at the 6A State Semifinals. 


Despite 11 hits in the game, the Rattlers brought home only two runners, while Deer Park scored seven runs. 

“Reagan fans are proud of the hard work, dedication, and commitment our baseball team displayed all season long,” according to the Rattler Sports Website, which also congratulated the fine team of athletes, trainers, and coaches.

Special awards went to: Jake Hoggatt and Seth Morrow, Texas High School Baseball Players of the Game 6A Semifinals vs Round Rock; Morrow, Porter Brown and Cal Martin, 6A All-State Tournament Team; and Cade Bormet and Cal Carver, Texas High School Baseball All State Team.  Senior team members also included: Jeff Bitzer, Bormet, Kyle Brookover, Grant Ellis, Robert Farish, Ramon Garza, Hoggatt, Andrew Magness and Mac Papini.
