Sports Results Update from Johnson High School Athletics

Here are some recent results from the Golf Teams and Aquatics at Johnson High School.



Congrats to our Boy’s Golf Team for their performance this weekend at the Fall State Preview – Shootout at Lake Travis.  The Jags finished 5th in one of the state’s most competitive fields, shooting rounds of 303, 289, and 300.  The Jags were led by Garrett Martin who shot 74-70-70 (6th Overall), Johnny Keefer 74-67-77 (13th Overall), Justin Abshire 82-72-77, Mason Stanley 77-82-76, and Luis Alvarez 79-80-86.

This past weekend the Aquatics Team competed against Taft at the Mega-Dual meet at the Northside Natatorium. 

Jag Swimmers and Divers took first in both the boys and girls meet!

 Girls won 739.5 to 669.5, and the Boys 759 to 552.

Outstanding swims took place throughout the meet to include:


200 Medley Relay

Girls placed first and second with the teams of – Hailey Miller, Jaden Pipes, Macey Mayer, Cara Smith, - Katherine Coppock, Logan Donna, Nicolette Wickes, Meredith Kershaw


200 Free

Boys placed second and third- Evan Shope and Nathan Blanco
