ON SAHA & THE TALAVERA APARTMENTS
As many of you know, SAHA has decided not to purchase two luxury apartment communities for affordable housing at the intersection of Loop 1604 and Blanco Road. I have been opposed to this project since I first learned of it several weeks ago, and believe SAHA has made the right decision.
At the meeting we hosted on October 30th, District 9 residents asked a number of well thought-out questions about this transaction. I pledge to continue asking SAHA these same questions which are listed below:

Reagan’s Golf Team will be selling half price tickets to the AT&T Championship PGA Event in San Antonio. The Championship event will be played October 20-22, 2006 at Oak Hills Country Club, and televised nationally on the Golf Channel. The AT&T Championship is a PGA Championship Tour event featuring more than 80 of the greatest names in golf – including defending champion Jay Haas, as well as other Tour players including Tom Kite, Hale Irwin, Craig Stadler, and Ben Crenshaw.
