Santa arrives in Stone Oak Saturday by helicopter

Santa Claus will descend on Stone Oak Saturday morning, landing at North Central Baptist Hospital in a medical helicopter. His greatly-anticipated arrival will kick off the hospital’s annual Airlife Santa Celebration, a holiday event offering many family-friendly activities, Christmas music and lots of fun.

BexarMet begins new search for future site of Stone Oak water tower

With plans for a ground storage unit in the Champions Run neighborhood scrapped due to high costs, BexarMet is now returning to its original plan for an elevated water tower while searching for an entirely new spot to build it on. Although the exact site has yet to be determined, the water tank will most likely be placed within the far northwest corner of Stone Oak.
