Accident caused Sunday's power outage

Residents in and around the Pinon Creek subdivision lost their power for an hour and a half late Sunday night after a car hit a utility pole near Evans and Bulverde roads.  A CPS employee said the accident activated an automatic safety device which cut power in the area.  Electricity remained off from 11 p.m. to 12:39 a.m.

Prom dresses collected for Formally Yours program

The Reagan PTA, along with the North East Council of PTAs, are collecting prom dresses for NEISD students who cannot purchase a gown of their own.  Called Formally Yours, the program was first initiated last year by Laura Salinas, a parent of three.

Cause of brush fire remains unknown

The cause of last month’s brush fire north of Reagan High School remains a mystery and fire officials admit the source will probably never be known.  Fire Chief Randy Jenkins says the cause of a brush fire is often difficult to pinpoint since the source usually succumbs to the flames along with everything around it. 

Reagan High School will perform The Death and Life of Larry Benson Tuesday Night

 UIL One-Act Play Zone Competition kicks off at Churchill High School's Naegelin Theatre Mar. 10 & 11. Reagan High School will be performing The Death and Life of Larry Benson on Tuesday at 9:00PM. The stage play is by Kristin Sergel adapted from the Television Series by Reginald Rose.
