Johnson JROTC earns trip to Washington, D.C.

Lopez school receives Medal of Honor display

After more than a year of negotiations, the U.S. Department of the Army finally agreed to present Lopez Middle School with a replica of the Congressional Medal of Honor. The display, which was presented during a special ceremony Wednesday, Dec. 17, is a symbol of remembrance for the bravery and courage of the school’s namesake and Medal of Honor recipient, Jose M. Lopez.
Lopez MS expands e-learning courseware

Lopez Middle School approaches the New Year by continuing to advance and integrate technology into its academic and extra-curricular programs. Like other NEISD schools, Lopez uses its Teacher Web for online quizzes and as a communication tool. To further enhance the use of technology Lopez will also add Fuse Talk, an online forum system, and the electronic courseware Moodle to provide students with a true e-learning experience.
Judson Montessori School changes name
Submitted by Staff on Wed, 11/19/2008 - 11:44am.The Judson Montessori School, located on 24 acres near Loop 1604 and Rogers Ranch Parkway, will now be called The Montessori School of San Antonio. The name change became effective earlier this month.
